Day 2
Breathing tube out!
Everything is going by the book in terms of recovery for Jonah. He got his breathing tube removed a little after 4 pm today. I guess you could say he’s not happy about it! He’s crying but praise the Lord he is breathing 100% on his own. His cry sounds a little hoarse as I’m sure his throat and lungs aren’t feeling the best right now either.
He did well last night and throughout the day. His blood pressure seems to fluctuate a bit and they are working on getting that under control. He is moving around on his own so I’m pretty sure he is fairly uncomfortable at this point. Please continue to be in prayer for his healing and comfort during this time. We are thankful to have great nurses and doctors caring for him.
