Jonah ended up staying in the hospital for 8 days due to his RSV. The main reason he was in there so long was due to him not being able to maintain his oxygen saturation levels without oxygen. They ended up sending him home on oxygen and that continues to be the case today. He seems to pretty much be back to normal outside of the oxygen canola that is attached to his face.
We have decided that it is probably best to keep Jonah home as much as possible until the end of March when the peak RSV season ends. He is just more suseptible of getting it again and another stay in the hospital for a week just doesn’t seem to be worth it right now. This season of our families life is very unique and very different than any other season. Just when we feel like we are getting back to normalcy with Jonah and life in general something like this creeps in and changes it. I guess that is the journey that God has us on for now.
Praise be to the Lord!
