JOURNEY WITH JONAH

The Time Has Come

Many thanks to Captured by KD for this awesome photo on the day before Jonah’s Surgery

Tomorrow at 8:30 am (it has been moved back one hour) our precious little guy will be in the operating room getting his heart fixed.  Today he went in for his pre-op procedures and all went well…except for the blood draw.  They had to poke him in three different spots.  Needless to say he wasn’t happy!  He is still crashed out since the ‘trauma’ 2 hours later. Thanks to my son Elijah for coming and helping me out with this long appointment.  And special thanks to Captured by KD (Kathleen Dellinger) for taking a few snap shots of Jonah on such short notice today prior to his surgery day.

We’ll try to keep this blog updated as we can throughout the day tomorrow, so if you want to see what’s going on check this site first.  We thank you all for your support and especially the prayers lifted up to God and ask that you continue praying for him.

God has entrusted special parents to be the guardians of his special children. I have known Dan a long time and I know that Jonah is in good hands with him.
Having raised our own special child,Dusty who is now 26, my wife and I may have some experiences to share with your family. Feel free to call upon us at any time.
